WHO?
Vanity Fur Pet Salon, opened in February, 2005. 

The original owner was raised in a family of small business owners. She worked in the Real Estate Development Industry for 10 years prior deciding her entrepreneurial spirit was too great to ignore and decided, with the help and support of her family, to open Vanity Fur Pet Salon.  Her mission was to create a place she could spend her days pampering and playing with pets as cherished and adored by their pet-parents as her own.

Starting out with one full-time groomer and currently employing an additional 3 part-time to full-time groomers depending on demand.

WHAT?
A full-service dog and cat grooming salon, using only the highest quality shampoos, conditioners, supplies, tools and equipment.   All services include hand washing, drying, brushing, full hygiene service and trimming as requested.

 Also, offered is the latest in shed-less treatment, commonly known as “The Furminator”.  This is an all natural process which helps to limit shedding in pets having excess shedding problems and double coats.  Go to www.FURminator.com for more information on this process. 

A selective range of accessory items are available including, Upcountry, Lupine, Gooby, Fidogear, Pylones, and Doggles retail lines.  Treats are available by Remington’s Neighborhood Bakery delivered fresh from Wash Park, as well as packaged Real Meat Treats, Colorado Naturals Treats Happy Bones and Dingo Bones.

WHERE?
Located at 5075 Leetsdale Drive, in Denver’s Hilltop Shopping Center, immediately East of Belcaro Animal Hospital, between the intersections of Cherry Street and Forest Street.  In addition to Vanity Fur Pet Salon, Hilltop Shopping Center is home to hair, nail and tanning salons so their clients can pamper themselves while pampering their pets.  Parking is very accessible, no scary parallel street parking.  This shopping center has a large parking lot for their clients to safely transport their pets.

WHY?
Vanity Fur Staff strives to offer a professional and friendly service to those who cherish their pets as much as we adore our own pets.  Michelle oversees the entire operation from answering the phone and greeting her customers at the front desk to overseeing the quality of service her staff produces and the cleanliness and efficiency of the facility.  

We believe one of the most important qualities Vanity Fur Pet Salon offers is making grooming appointments by the hour, which allows their clients to have an approximate time to pick up their pets.  Their pets don’t need to wait in a kennel all day.  Most appointments range between 1 and 3 hours depending on the size, age, client’s requests and the condition of the pet’s fur.

Vanity Fur Pet Salon also offers a unique grooming maintenance plan for those clients who prefer to schedule out future appointments for every 1 week to 3 weeks at a reduced rate in order to maintain the pet’s health and beauty.

WHEN?
Hours of operation are currently Tuesday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Appointments are made by the hour, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (2:00 PM on Saturdays).  Closed Sunday and Monday.
